So you want to be part of the 506th PIR. OK this is the place for you to enlist. But before you go filling out that form you need to do some reading. First thing you should do is read everything in the New Recruit area.
Next you need to read this part again:
Read the following to see what we expect of our members.
The first thing you should know is that the 506th PIR is not a clan. We are a realism unit. If you have never been a part of the realism community, it may be a shock how we run things. A realism unit portrays an actual unit that fought in WWII and today. We try to run the unit as realistically as possible when the game permits it. If you are accepted, you will enter the unit as a new recruit. You will be considered a recruit until you take and pass your assigned Basic Training. This could take up to two weeks to get in. When you pass BT you will be promoted to the rank of Pvt. You will be placed in a platoon, and then assigned to a squad. You will attend all drills that your squad or platoon holds. These drills are mandatory. You will be taught basic realism tactics that we use during scrimmages with other realism units.
Also, during your training period, we will be able to evaluate you to see if you have what it takes to be a member of the 506th PIR. After your "probationary" is over, you will be permanently assigned to your squad. We also require all members to be active on the forums. This gives the rest of our members who don't get to play on the server with you a chance to get to know you. Your squad will have a weekly check-in on the forums. We require you to post a reply to those check-ins. If for any reason you are unable to attend you scheduled drills, you are required to post an LOA (Leave of Absence) in your squads forum.
Inactivity is not tolerated from our members. We have no problem discharging a member due to their lack of dedication to the unit. If you feel that we require too much of our members, then maybe this unit is not for you. Do not waste your time nor ours by filling out an application if you are unable to meet our standards.
By posting your application, you are basically saying: "I agree that if I am accepted into the 506th PIR, I will follow all rules of the 506th PIR. I understand that failure to follow all rules set forth by the unit may result in my discharge from the unit." Thank you for taking an interest in our unit. If you decide not to enlist with us, please feel free to hang out on our server and our forums. You may change your mind at a later date.
OK so you made it this far and you didn't run home to momma! Now what you need to do is fill out this form and post it in the Forums Enlistment Area. Then go get active on the forums, a reply will be made in the post and you need to monitor it. When you are accepted or denied it will be posted there. If you don't reply to that post your application will be torn up and you will have to start over after a period of 2 weeks at the Minimum. YOU MUST ANSWER ALL THE QUESTIONS OR WE WILL NOT EVEN LOOK AT YOUR APPLICATION. Also Skype is required, if you don't have it go download it first and set up.
Now, head over to the forums and fill out an enlistment form. You will need to sign up on the forums. Other wise you will note be able to see the Enlistment Line. Then we will need the following information from you.
